Sixty Seven Sins – Gas Face Review: Written by Daniel
When I first heard about Gas Face by Sixty Seven Sins, I was intrigued by the name alone. As someone who appreciates a good indica hybrid, I had to see if this lived up to the hype that’s been building around the Sixty Seven Sins brand.
Appearance and Aroma 9/10
Opening the package of Gas Face was an experience in itself. The buds were beautifully structured – dense, sticky, and absolutely covered in trichomes that glistened under the light. The trim job was immaculate, showing real care in the cultivation process. But the aroma? That’s where this strain really shines. The name “Gas Face” is spot-on – there’s an immediate punch of pungent gas that hits you, followed by subtle earthy undertones and a hint of something sweet that’s hard to place. It’s the kind of smell that fills the room instantly and had my roommate poking his head in to see what I was up to.
Flavor Profile 8.5/10
The taste of Gas Face follows through on what the aroma promises, but with some interesting surprises. The first inhale delivers that classic gas/diesel flavor that indica lovers will appreciate, but on exhale, I noticed more complexity – a subtle spiciness and a touch of sweetness that rounds out the experience. The smoke was thick and flavorful, maintaining its character consistently through the session. While not the most unique flavor profile I’ve ever encountered, it executes the classic gas strain taste exceptionally well.
Effects and Potency 9.5/10
This is where Gas Face really earned its place in my regular rotation. At around 27% THC, I expected a strong hit, but what impressed me was the quality of the high. The effects came on quickly – a warm wave of relaxation that started in my head and gradually melted down through my entire body. What I particularly appreciated was the mental clarity that remained despite the physical sedation. I felt blissfully relaxed but not completely couch-locked or foggy-headed. This makes Gas Face perfect for evening use when you want to unwind but still have a conversation or enjoy a movie. The duration was impressive too – I felt the effects strongly for about 2-3 hours before they gently tapered off.
Smoothness and Burn 8/10
For such a potent strain, Gas Face smoked surprisingly smoothly in my bong. There was a slight harshness on bigger hits, but nothing unexpected given the high potency. When I rolled it in a joint, it burned evenly with a clean white ash, indicating a good cure and flush. The resin production was notable – by the end of the joint, the filter was thoroughly sticky, testament to the strain’s potency.
Overall Experience 9/10
Gas Face by Sixty Seven Sins has quickly become one of my go-to indica hybrids. At around $33 for 3.5g or $109.95 for 14g, it’s not the cheapest option on the market, but the quality justifies the price point. The combination of bag appeal, aroma, flavor, and most importantly, effects, makes this a standout product. It’s perfect for those evenings when you want to relax deeply without completely checking out mentally.
If you’re a fan of gas-forward indicas that deliver consistent, quality effects, Gas Face is definitely worth adding to your rotation. Sixty Seven Sins has created something special here, and I’m now eager to try more of their offerings.
